“I am a music teacher (bassoon, trumpet, trombone, horn, tuba, clarinet, saxophone, oboe) who happens to like computer games.
I started to program on my parents' brand new computer: a 386. (It was a while ago ;) QBasic. But now it is even more fun, with C and Allegro, since music, sound and graphics are as big part of a game as the programming! And while I can "code my way out of a box", I see myself more as an artist than a programmer.
Current project: I have ported SLUDGE (a 2d adventure game engine) to Mac OS X, and am now lead developer, further developing it and maintaining the OS X and Windows ports. (This is not an Allegro project. It uses OpenGL for Graphics, some SDL for input and setup and BASS for sound.)”
