I guess the server hasn't been updated, I get a UTFDataFormatException when trying to connect. ----- |

Yeah, that's why I've been working on a project in single player. The first section of my massive wall is done.

I just manually kicked off an update. Otherwise, it would have updated on its own at midnight anyhow. But yeah, 1.2 beta is running now. |

There seems to be a new update. If it's true the damn chunks bug should have a temporal fix now. Is the server updated BAF? EDIT: I just needed to build this: TranslatorHack 2010, a human translation chain in a.cc. |

Agh, this was fast, the intro from Still Alive with note blocks: But it seems the note blocks lack an octave, so we'll have to wait a bit more. TranslatorHack 2010, a human translation chain in a.cc. |

Nice job with the door bell. The Still Alive intro is awesome too. I can't wait to see what people do with the note blocks! -- acc.js | al4anim - Allegro 4 Animation library | Allegro 5 VS/NuGet Guide | Allegro.cc Mockup | Allegro.cc <code> Tag | Allegro 4 Timer Example (w/ Semaphores) | Allegro 5 "Winpkg" (MSVC readme) | Bambot | Blog | C++ STL Container Flowchart | Castopulence Software | Check Return Values | Derail? | Is This A Discussion? I take it back, StarTrek themes can wait, someone absolutely has to make a giant keyboard like in the movie Big. -- |

So if you want to figure out how to do something in A.cc and can't find it, one way to try to find an answer is look up how to do it with XHTML. -- acc.js | al4anim - Allegro 4 Animation library | Allegro 5 VS/NuGet Guide | Allegro.cc Mockup | Allegro.cc <code> Tag | Allegro 4 Timer Example (w/ Semaphores) | Allegro 5 "Winpkg" (MSVC readme) | Bambot | Blog | C++ STL Container Flowchart | Castopulence Software | Check Return Values | Derail? | Is This A Discussion? Who screwed my tower up up north? It's the random tower, fairly near to the giant QR code cgames is building. Not only did someone place torches all over and melt half the snow, but they also put holes in my wall and replaced it with glass. I don't want windows. And, thanks to how shitty the half-stone works, I have to destroy everything above where the hole to be patched is, all the way to the top of the world, and rebuild it all. Thanks a lot. |

Oh crap! That's sucky. I think you'd be justified in opening up a level editor to fix it.

What makes that even more annoying is a double half stone seems to only give back a single halfstone when its broken. Or at least thats all I was getting back when I was working on my tower and glass tunnel. -- |

I don't mind that issue, because we have tons of cobble anyway. But you can't place one half stone on top of another in the same block unless the one above it is empty. The part that really disappoints me remains the torches that melted all the snow. No reason to level edit, I just need to be on for long enough to spawn in snow and destroy all the torches. |

Thats pretty cool. You must be close enough to the building that things still spawn.. Neat. -- |

I've heard (I believe it was from Notch) that in single player, tiles in a 300x300-tile area surrounding the player are simulated for purposes of spawning, redstone, water, etc. -- Ryan Patterson - <http://cgamesplay.com/> |

I didn't think it was 300x300 for random monster spawning. I thought it was significantly smaller. -- |
