Author's Description: What can I say, 21 years of age so some wont know it, it was a bit unusual at the time (and still is) as an isometric space shoot'em-up.
It's still progressing, check it out if you haven't seen it yet!

What's New:
0.4.124
A tiny update to make it a little easier, mainly powerup, autofire and shooting enemy bullets.
(I did this update also because my ISP messed my site up, then I updated, they messed it up again, locked me out, now all is well again, well, today anyway (5th Aug))
0.4.123
The Robot has arrived!, it's playable now all of the way through and gets more difficult after round 1. There is a hi score table and many more changes.
0.2.92
Mid development (at last)
It's been a few months since 0.1.67, well, it's still going but still no Zaxxon Boss yet. Have a look if you want to see how it's going.
0.1.67
Early-mid development now, it's version 0.1.xx even though there's still a couple of things missing in the first stage.
(such as Zaxxon's doodlebug which he sends for flying too high)
Most noticable changes are the (empty) space stage, the third stage and the front screen but see change log link above for perhaps a better description of the changes.
0.0.48
Still early development, some lousy collision detection but more things going on in first stage which is getting almost playable. See change log link for perhaps a better description of the changes.

Public Opinion Overall Rating: 9.3 10I've played the old Zaxxon as well. This one is really close to the old Zaxxon and I like it a lot! 10First off, I'm giving it 5 stars since it's a faithful remake. All the frustration of not knowing how high to go is in here :) All kidding aside, this game is fun. Some music wouldnt hurt, but I don't believe it was in the original. Open source would have been nice, but we can't be too picky about that, right?
Good game! 8Very original concept (well, ok, so it's a remake, but still), but it is frustratingly hard to judge at which height level you need to be to hit enemies. Great production values. Highscores list would be better if you could enter longer names.
