I was thinking how great a program like this would be, and this is just right. It isn't a game per se, but he includes the source so I may "play" with it some and see if I can expand on it. The engine is great. I love the entering/exiting of atmospheres and sheer expanse. Wonderful!

well it looks nice ..BUT it's not a game .. not yet at least finish it .. i downloaded this one some 3 years ago and NOTHING changed finish your game !!!

I hereby decree Space Glider a Wicked Cool Game(tm). There isn't much action but the rest of the game is very well done. The controls, graphical style, and the constant hum of your Space Glider make for a truly immersive experience.

Well, this programmer knows his 3d, that is for sure. Excellent engine! The feeling of watching the sunset and the shadows elongating is truly amazing! Now, let's make a game out of it, shall we?

hey, when I played this there was no real action in this game, but it was still impressive, lot's of retro fx (even better due to better resolution)....and I loved reading the sourcecode as well ;-)

I thought this game was really cool. You can explore an entire galaxy, land on planets and much more. Its really cool and worth the download. Good work!

Mmmm, StarGlider 2, Mercenary, early days yet but looks very promising.
