Reviews
A pretty fun game for a little while. I understand the graphics are supposed to be retro but that really doesn't help the game much and is a real unmotivator when thinking about buying the full game.
I couldn't stop playing the demo until I had finished it. The gameplay is perfectly balanced and the graphics, music, and sound are retro-beautiful. If you like the original you will love this one, it's better in every way.
It's above average. But not so good that it can compete with shareware titles.
This game is fun! I found myself playing through the 8 demo levels on each of the 3 difficulty settings. The concept of gathering defeated ships is kind of cool. I think the readability of the help screen for the controls could be improved. I wouldn't buy the game, I think it should be freeware.
Nostalgic fun. Sounds and graphics are well done for their purposes. I love that you can capture an enemy ship and that you can see your ship physically grow. But the AI is way too simple, the boss battles were too. Levels could be more interesting. The turrets with weak points were a good touch. |
