It's a really nice and quite addictive game with nice gameplay and ok sound and graphics. Could benefit from some music though.
(1.73) Addictive it is, like Pixelships. My advice to players is to buy an engine as soon as possible, everything else can wait.
Solid gameplay and particle effects on the engines and afterburners are a nice touch. A tad slow in the beginning, but still a good game. I really like the update with distances to the next node.
Any chance of the source so we can compile for Linux?!
Nice graphics, very good gameplay, an addictive game, even if the beginnig is a little slow. A good work indeed!
LightSpeed is a great game, but lacks some nice features to catch the players attention. If better engines are set up at first, I'm sure it would be even better! I hope that the game becomes seccsessful, I havent seen a 2D Space Racer in a while...er..never..
Great engine & SFX. The game is easy to adapt to, and very addictive. The only problem is that it's really hard and slow-motion at the start. I found it fun once I cheated to have 2000 credits :)
It might seem slow in the beginning, but if you give it a serius try, it grows on you.
Well, it's nice, but lacks gameplay. When you're playing with the first ship (and you can't afford to upgrade it), it's SLOW and BORING.. maybe with better engines etc. the game gets nice and dynamic, I dunno :). However the gfx and sound are nice. So it is a 3,5. |
