In answer to the OP, no not really. Well, there's a few pieces left but most of it's been eaten already. {"name":"603330","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/b\/1\/b1f1ba409e43e15e922d9044b85eb354.jpg","w":640,"h":512,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/b\/1\/b1f1ba409e43e15e922d9044b85eb354"} Last time it was working for me, Cartograph had been posting messages but the map wasn't working (I think Dario(?) tried it but I didn't). __________________________________ |

Just pinged BAF about it. He thinks the map is too large for our tiny server, and chunks have started falling out of the holes in the case where the fans go. Also, some of the chunks may have got caught in the fan, which is why everything is all shredded-like. Apologies if the hurricane-force winds destroyed your castle or tower. Anyways, I restarted the server manually. Maybe it's working now (I could log in). [append] [append] -- Ryan Patterson - <http://cgamesplay.com/> |

I've heard of server problems regarding huge maps, but they were talking about a 4gb world. TranslatorHack 2010, a human translation chain in a.cc. |

I don't know if I pointed out yet how great I am at everything, but I deleted most of the backups we made of the maps. Yay! However, I did manage to recover a fair fraction of them, so I have 42 snapshots from scattered across the year. Now the levels are saved in a git repo. If anybody wants this pushed to them, let me know and I can set that up. The repo is 1.3 GB. You won't be able to pull yourself, sorry. Now I'm off to fix the map server. commit 51dff680e178899a58f966be692bde84704d3a77 Author: Robert Ferris <redacted> Date: Tue Feb 8 18:51:31 2011 -0500 Automatic backup Players online now: Hypervisor Logins since previous backup: Hypervisor (66.220.144.74) Hypervisor (66.220.144.75) sevalecan (66.227.145.102)

Nope, the backups were all I deleted. [append] Does anyone know why there are hundreds of signs with words like "MobSpawner Spider" all over the place? BAF and me can't figure it out. Did someone with literally hundreds of hours go an do this? Is it a change in c10t? -- Ryan Patterson - <http://cgamesplay.com/> |

I don't know why that was, but I had the same problem. I restarted the server and it's working again. Just post if you continue to have problems. -- Ryan Patterson - <http://cgamesplay.com/> |

FatNinja, you can't come on the server until you've programmed your first game and published it to the Depot. No jk, if we had that rule nobody would be allowed on the server -- Ryan Patterson - <http://cgamesplay.com/> |
