I heard about this puzzle in Maths Club (don't worry, I don't already know the answer :P ). Apparently it only works for certain grid sizes - 4, 6, 8 and 10, or something like that. I know it doesn't work for 2 (in fact it's damn obvious), and I don't think it works for odd numbers... :D

It was a foodnote in my cursus of algebra.
(and if it's possible has nothing to do with beeing odd or not)
You really wil hate me when i tell you the answer.

eg 3
=> 1,2,3 & A,B,C
