Author's Description: carterrain is a computer game that I created. It's a 3D multi-player splitscreen, offroad racing game. Race against a bunch of friends crowded around a keyboard.

carterrain's features:
- A Killer offroad course
- Accurate, car physics
- Race against up to 6 friends on the same pc
- Hardware acclerated 3d graphics

carterrain is FREE. It is available for Linux and Windows, and the full source code is available.

An out-dated screenshot of a 2 player game

• 4Impressive physics and graphics are fairly good, but currently this is really a tech demo and not a game. The car's top speed is much too slow, there's no concept of laps, time limits, stunt bonuses, scoring or anything that would make this a proper game and fun to play after you've tired of chanting "impressive physics".

• 6What I saw didn't look like a complete game. The graphics is good and the physics engine is excellent but there is only 1 track, there are almost no sounds, no music and the menus don't look good.
