Author's Description: This is a remake of the 1981 text adventure "The Hobbit" which was based on the book by JRR Tolkien. It runs on any Windows PC that can support 1024/768 resolution and uses Allegro for the graphics.

  • 5the graphics looked good, but it ran waaaay too slow on my computer and I grew tired of waiting for text to scroll ect...

  • 5V 1.0: It's not really a remake, but more of a clone of The Hobbit Text Adventure. I never played the original, but what research I did on the internet reveals your game is nearly identical. I can't really give a high or low score. But, to those who want to relive the experience, this will suffice.
