Depot: Membrane Massacre

Reviews

The unique premise of this little shooter has really stuck with me. Fifteen years later and I still occasionally load it up and spend a few hours shooting germs.
There's not much to say: if you like cutting-edge graphics and sound, you probably won't like it; if you like computer games you'll certainly appreciate this hobbyists efforts at making a fun, neat looking and well sounding game.
A high quality game. Fun and diverse enough to last a couple of days. Great graphics, nice sound. However, the difficulty tends to be a bit all over the place, and weapon balance is a bit weird. Reload times are also a bit too long, Its impossible to have any ammo left at survival level 45. --Great.
Membrane Massacre is an intense shooter and a good one at that. It has good graphics, decent weapon variety and feels very complete. Make sure to turn relative movement off, as it makes controlling difficult. Give it a try, you should enjoy it.
A very well executed and excellent game overall. My only complaints are minor: It's lacking some polish, isn't completely play balanced and it gets repetative. I'm glad Steve took the time to make this more than just a one/two week project.
