Author's Description: Kickle is a remake of the Nintendo game Kickle Cubicle by Irem.
Part action, part puzzler, the game is presented in a top-down view and is in the same vein as Pengo and Lolo.

Guide a plucky snowman named Kickle through the various icy levels of the Fantasy Kingdom. His fellow citizens have been imprisoned in red bags strewn across each level. Kickle must collect all the bags on each level to progress to the next one.

In each level, parts of the level are initially unreachable because they are separated by water. Luckily, Kickle has two powers at his disposal.

Kickle can freeze baddies, turning them into ice cubes which can then be pushed into the water, creating bridges to new areas. Kickle can also create pillars on the ice, which can be used to control the movement of the ice cubes.

The difficulty is in determining how to create Kickle's ice bridges, while at the same time avoiding the attacks of various baddies.

The demo features 17 levels, five baddies, three collectable goodies, and various other features which help and hinder Kickle in his quest.

Source and a Windows binary are provided, and the game has been compiled by users on Linux systems and OS X.
