My first encounter with computer was at the beginning of the eighties with a C64. Mostly it was playing games, but soon I was interested in the "how it is done", especially the programs written in the computerlanguage 'Assembler'. I begun to translate printed code (written in decimal or hexadecimal numbers) to the computercommands like 'LDA#01' etc. So I learned much about the background of programs and I begun to make programs by myself. I found (and find) it very exciting to have an idea and try to make it real. Experience with PC's came much later, at work, where I was confronted with MS EXCEL and soon I was involved with writing programs in VB for our department. At the end of last year I came somehow to the idea of learning C++ and soon after I discovered Allegro and here I am. Still excited to have ideas and to make them somehow real! (View Profile)
