Author's Description: Chibi soccer is a soccer game played by cartoonish Japanese school girls who are drawn in the "Super Deformed Chibi" style. It was written for Xmas Hack 07.

It supports keyboard and gamepad input. The key configuration is as follows:

Keyboard (P1)
arrow keys move
Z kick/passes
X slide tackle/ shoot for goal
C change player

Gamepad (P2)
DPad move
Button1 kick/passes
Button2 slide tackle/ shoot for goal
Button3 change player

• 8It's a really nice idea, though the sprites could use some more frames. It was kind of weird adapting at the controls at first, but then I easily picked up and managed to have a good match against the decent AI. The gamepad option is really nice, as well as support for 2 players. Good fun!

I am a tester for a mobile phone software development company. I would like to write games for a living. For now I just write games for fun. I know how to write 3d games and graphics. However I love the speed at which and allegro game can go from idea to finished product. Also working with sprites is so much easier than 3d models.
