Wow, this was more fun than I expected. Great all around. Sometimes it felt like the snake didn't turn correctly, but I need to play more to determine if it's an actual control problem or just my imagination. It might be a good idea to highlight the word you're supposed to spell a bit better.

Awesome. Easy-to-read letters, addictive gameplay, good control. The only thing this game needs is a little bit more polish and maybe a more colorful presentation. I wish I could give a 4.5 :)

One of the best games for children I've ever seen on the Allegro.cc depot. There's really not much wrong with it, music and sounds are excellent, presentation is good and it's very well polished. The only thing the game needs to be special, is some better gfx, smoother animation and more eye candy.
