I had a rough start with it, just trying to figure out the controls, but so far its a great world explorer type game. I wish I could save/load my game, so if I die I could go back. And some additional help files would be nice, but then again I'm a fan of huge game manuals :) So far I'm enjoying it!
Gameplay starts slow, but picks up quickly enough to not be too frustrating the first time. Combat is indirect; pick a target and press attack once. In the end it's fun due to the ability to build "cities" even underground. I spent countless hours digging out an entire sector then adding rooms.
This is my favorite type of game: Random World Exploration! This is a great game with the various items and quest. While most people like high quality graphics, I like what this game offers: The type of game programmers like, I guess. Almost as good as Noctis! (Noctis is not an Allegro game.)
Other then playing painfully slow on older computers, it's a great game. Easy to stop playing and come back to. Attacking other objects is confusing, a tutorial can solve this if it goes step by step through a normal attack. Most of the graphics are dark, so it's hard to see. Movement is slow, a fast-walk mode would be liked. Good job. :)
