AlDjVu is an add-on library for Allegro that allows you to load .djvu files. DjVu is a lossy image compression format that achieves much better compression ratio than jpeg (typically 2-10 times better with the same quality), or superior quality with the same file size. You can load .djvu files directly from disk and from datafiles.
