IOTD: Allegro 5 rocks

After a long hiatus, I have returned to the Marduk Engine. And I've started with a port to Allegro 5. This allows nice effects that I couldn't easily do in Allegro 4.2! It works so damn fast! And porting is no problem. I just need to figure out how to extend this to iOS.

The user interface is highly customisable. Multiple widgets can work concurrently, and it took a while to figure out how, but I managed to duplicate Sirocco's ripple effect.

I'm going to start uploading youtube videos of my progress, detailing different functionality as I implement it. Here's the first youtube video.

You see Ron, as the Master, programming on a normal screen was just too easy for him, so now he programs on a backwards screen; the text is much harder to read that way... but it was the only way computers could keep his interests... ;-P
