Happy birthday to my aunt. It's her bday.

We celebrated 4:20 already in vancouver at ubc by stripping naked at midnight and running through campus and the library and everywhere else people were studying for exams. It was for charity though so that makes it okay.

Damn, had to actually google for what is so special on this day. And guess what, absolutely nothing. ::)

Yeah, it's just "celebrated" by a portion of the cannabis culture... and all they do is smoke weed, which is what they do anyways. ;D It's kind of like Christians having a Jesus worship day.

I didn't do anything, in case you were wondering ML ;)

Screw the dealers. Several of my friends are growers, and I still don't smoke every day, or even close to it. I think my current engine would still just be an idea if I did.

I could see doing it as a once a year holiday. I'd never get into doing it on a regular-basis, though. I've got too much of my future to work toward--and my personality leads me to addictive cop-outs if I'm not careful.

Smoke weed everyday.

Also, I don't think an addiction alone is a problem (if you can really get "addicted" to weed) but rather what you link the addiction to. Many people are addicted to caffeine, but they tend to drink coffee right before getting work done, so their mind goes "Oh, caffeine? I guess it's time to get serious." The problem is that people smoke weed to relax, so any time you get high your brain says "Cool, bro. Let's relax, maaaaaan."

If your idea of relaxing is writing sweet code, then there's no harm -- you're probably more likely to work on code, enjoy it more, and are more relaxed. If your idea of relaxing is something else, I don't think you have a terribly bright future to begin with, but smoking habitually will probably make it worse.

You were supposed to smoke weed, not drink alcohol.

Wait, what? I skipped over all those births and deaths right to the holidays. And no, either google filters the results or it's nothing searched in large numbers.

THC isn't a very physically addictive compound, but it's effects can be very addictive psychologically.
