My new ride

I know some people here have kick ass rides, but this is MY new baby, it's a 2000 acura integra special edition. In Canada, since we get a lot of precipitation and snow (and salty roads that is used to melt snow and ice) one of the main problems with cars is rust, rust is a big issue here, it's unavoidable. After a week of searching hard for either a good sports or 4x4 for a cheap price, I found this gem. This car is clean in and out and under the hood it's a beauty, i brought it to the mechanics and they were all very impressed with my find;D

Today i'm going to get the timing belt replaced (100,000 km mark)

The only thing i changed out was the deck, I'm planning to keep the car in stock condition, any repairs/replacements will only be done with stock parts. This summer i'm going to replace the base carpet and shampoo the seats, I've already detailed the dash.

Did you really blur out every single license plate in the picture... why?

Otherwise, nice find and hope things work out better for you then my honda did... than again... dispite all the problems I had with the car... when it worked, I loved my honda. (1990 Honda Accord)
I sold it and got an 07 Corolla. Not as powerful but gets the job done

My car is sorta like this
{"name":"W17103.JPG","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/8\/0\/80236ba0226bf093b8642d3693bc019e.jpg","w":640,"h":425,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/8\/0\/80236ba0226bf093b8642d3693bc019e"}W17103.JPG
(there isn't MUCH image leaching)
but with more rust, door handles that don't work on the back, and doors that freeze shut in the morning. "DAD, I CAN'T GET IN THE CAR AGAIN" so he bodyslams it, apparently better than I can, and I get to school (as) late (as usual).

my camera has this feature that automagically blurs license plates. I've spent enough time doing up my car this week (i detailed the interior, got it to literally shine inside out, flushed all the fluids, new timing belt+sealents+water pump and i need to flush the injector in about 2 weeks), i've put so much time+money+work into it, and the ride quality is amazing, time to go cruzing and picking up the ladies with it.

A Galant of that type is nice, except they forgot to install sound dampening at the factory, and the ECU doesn't allow the engine to start when it's below -25c (this can be cheated by warming up the cabin as the ECU makes that decision based on its own internal temperature sensor). But it's built with old school technology, it's quite reliable.

edit: I just found this:

Unfortunately the only cars that make a difference in picking up ladies are small hatchbacks and they need to be red or yellow. A black japanese family car size coupé won't do it. Then again if you're targeting redneckettes or white trash girls, that just might do the trick...

Note that I didn't include cars such as Ferraris, Maseratis, Aston Martins etc, because when rolling those, you don't pick the girl up, the car does. Which is why I decided to restrain myself from buying my first Ferrari until I'm no longer single. ;D

You don't deserve my sig.

I've been driving for about 15 years and had 7 different cars. Luckily none of which have been stolen and only 1 that I crashed. Mind you it only the most recent ones that were worth pinching ;)

I started off with a Ford Capri, then moved to a MG Metro, then a Fiat Tipo, followed by a Vauxhall Corsa then a Mazda 323 and now my Honda CR-V (I also own a Citroen C1, but that's just for commuting).

Not that those names mean much to anyone as they change names when you change countries...

You can go wrong with the people who bought the Honda before you. You can ALWAYS go wrong that way. Abused Honda's break all the time. I'm glad your not stuck with one of those!

2-door Integras are literally the most stolen car in America.

Anyways, looks like a great car! I'm happy for ya!

Actually the only UK-specific name there was Vauxhall, replace that with Opel and all the models are internationally uniquely identifiable. Well, except MG of course is identifiable, just not seen, luckily no-one ever exported such waste of steel outside the UK in any significant amount. ;)

I meant the model as well. Most models are specific to the country/region, e.g. the corsa was never sold in America.

I'd call BS on that, but with all the new and seemingly impossible things technology is doing these days I'm afraid to make a call on what can and can't be done.
