I'm too old for this silly valentines day crap - it's for kids. But you could say that when I'm with a girl I celebrate "Valentines Day" quite often. My gift is a big wet f**k. Hell, sometimes I'll invite other girls over to make things more interesting.

Weird... I thought you were 13 years old... :-/

Oops, I forgot that I tested your custom JS to ignore users earlier and forgot to remove it. So it does work. :)

Good thing I noticed you were listed as the last person who posted on the reent posts page, or it would taken me longer to realize you'd stopped posting.

And here I was thinking mods had super give credits to whoever you want powers.

Hehe, I should have used gnolam's number as an example :)

Well, let's leave this behind us. Will you be my valentine?

To be honest I'm happy that I'm single on valentines day.

Its a very unbalanced holiday. As a guy I get nothing, yet have to spend a bunch of effort to give her something.

And don't say guys get sex. Cause thats a lame argument.

A girl gave me like 2 pounds of chocolate... and I really wanna get something for her, but I'm not sure if I'll have time to before V-day is over :-/. But yeah, that really made my day.

I celebrate winter-een-mas, talk like a pirate day and towel day.
Other than that I don't really give a shit, I just join my family on certain holidays because their gathered and I need a little break from reality.

The group... It's the worst thing isn't it? You'll just have to catch her when she's on her own. You'd be like an intruder if you tried to join their conversation.

Nonsense. Barge into any group. Captivate their attention. Sell them something. Charm the knickers off the lot of them. They may run away screaming, or they may fancy something you've got. No harm done either way.

I tried it once. One of the girls is still in rehab because of the shock. Poor, poor girl. :'(

Now, to stay on topic, I'll give my gf a rose and this: Link
It may not work on your PC, and I don't care, since it has to work on mine (and it does) :P

Keep in mind I've written it in a few hours, so the code is ugly...

I haven't put you on ignore again. I've been at work. My god it was brutal, my feet are aching. But as I foresaw, I made more in tips than I did in wages. Which is very rare here in NZ, where tipping is not customary.

I was hoping we could have a promiscuous, noncommitting relationship...

What sort of fringe benefits does this relationship have?

Ok, now I'm going to be a bit harsh. Valentine's day is not a customary holiday here. It's been brought here by Americans few years ago (let's say fifteen) and it looks really ugly and it's only commercial holiday here. So I don't see point in celebrating something you (americans) have brought here to make a profit. :P

Of course it has been commercialized, but it is not originally a commercial holiday. It makes since that it has been commercialized though for all the reasons ML stated:

Quote:

It's stupid because you can give gifts 364 days out of the year on every day, but if you don't give one on VD, you "don't love her."

Many people see the holiday this way, because the tradition has become so strong. It's a perfect place to commercialize, being such a sensitive area of one's life.

But it's only commercialized if you let it. ;)

Ditto here, actually.
