Is there a way to store datafiles in the executable? would be cool :P.
and what is a recource file??

Just use the exedat command line tool, that is shipped with Allegro. It's in the tools directory.

To load a datafile appended to the executable use the
load_datafile("#");
function. NOTE: Use the # symbol as the file name.
