Is there a way to store datafiles in the executable? would be cool
.
and what is a recource file??
Look in the manual.
You can also use a third party application like MoleBox.
Thanks!... hey wait... i can't find it... 1: What manual? 2:What's the subject too look for?
Just use the exedat command line tool, that is shipped with Allegro. It's in the tools directory.
To load a datafile appended to the executable use the
load_datafile("#");
function. NOTE: Use the # symbol as the file name.
Give a man a fish and he will have food for one day,
but give a man a fishing rod and he will have food for his entire life.
Haha, thanks guys! of if youre girls "thanks girls!".
Give a man a fish and he will have food for one day,
but give a man a fishing rod and he will have food for his entire life.
Or:
"Give a man a fire, and he will be warm for a day,
but set the man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life."

I've always heard:
"Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!"
