The idea for this thread struck me while I was eating Chinese food - a shrimp roll and shrimp lo main. Chinese is prolly one of my favorite foods. What is everyone else's favorite food(s)? |

I'm not vegetarian but here's my favorite: Take 2 halves of a zucchini. Carve the soft stuff off with a spoon. Slice an onion and a garlic. Fry the soft stuff together with the onion and the garlic in a pan with a tea spoon of oil. Add one can of mashed tomato. Add some salsa if you like it. Let the stuff dehydrate for some minutes in the hot pan. Fill the carved zucchini halves with the stuff. Put some olives on top if you like that. Top with cheese and put in the oven, 200 C, until the cheese gets some colour. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Years of thorough research have revealed that what people find beautiful about the Mandelbrot set is not the set itself, but all the rest. |

I was in Italy a week this summer, ate everything I could find and gained two kilos without regretting Anything I think Italian is prolly the ultimate kitchen.. I've come to regard the others as kiddie-food Great, simple dish: 2 portions
The taste of this simple dish is amazing - just be careful not to fry the garlic/chili mix too much - the garlic should become light brown, but not too brown.. mm...

Heh! some like it hot -Thanks for spotting it - I really don't like it when food is so hot that you sit sweating - It's even worse than food that doesn't taste Anything.. Anyone here who's into the real hot stuff?

What would I find there that I'm not already aware of? In grade 12 religion this girl did a presentation on animal abuse (at the worst degree possible). She had an extremely graphic photo album which was passed around the class. A lot of it was from cattle farms, slaughter houses, chicken farms, etc. Didn't gross me out enough to stop eating meat... or stop using glue! "He who controls the stuffing controls the Universe" |

It's not just the sights, the most important aspects of the whole experience are the sounds and the smells. In chicken meat processing plants some areas are even labeled as biohazard and workers need to wear special protective suits and gas masks to enter. And I'm not making this up. OK, I added biohazard for effect (it could be true though) but the stuff about gas masks definately is a fact... -- |

ChaoticCanuck from GameDev is supposed to take me to some sushi place he knows one of these days. I'm scared; isn't raw stuff supposed to be bad for you? Not for vegetables, but, I mean, meat, and stuff ... -- |

Would If I could then again, I heard, not all sushi is actually made from raw fish, so I might go for some sushi, just not raw fish Quote: Not for vegetables, but, I mean, meat, and stuff ...
Nope. Unless you try the Blowfish As long as its stored properly, raw fish is fine. Raw beef and chicken on the otherhand... Go ahead, if you want to get sick and/or die -- |

Quote: lots of vegetarians don't seem to classify fish as meat even I see that as an excuse for a vegetarian to eat SOMETHING other than vegetables, but what the heck?

Pizza and Burritos. Love Chinese. Fave Drink however is HackerWacker. HackerWacker: 2x a Litre of Mountain Dew take and mix in a big pot/cooler (depends) Drink: Better have something to do as you will be up for awhile (talking 2days to 1 week) I usually add some other things that can keep me going for about a week and a half. I also used to use Jolt, but it got taken off the market (if you have a case stashed somewhere put a bottle in for an extra kick. |

I really think vegetarian-tolerance has gone too far: How many of you haven't been to some dinner where they said "Well, Jennifer is vegetarian, so we'll have to make vegetarian food for all 12 of us"... horrible.. especially since I've hardly eaten Any vegetarian food that I would like to eat again.. I'm going to start boycotting these things, and Demand decent food! Vegetarians can bring a zucchini to eat instead of destroying lunch for everybody else. ..I wonder how many cows there would be in the world if people didn't eat them.. not a lot, I would guess. Would it make the cows happier to not exist at all? PS - Yes, animals SHOULD have be given decent lives - I wouldn't mind if was criminal not to do so gnolam: Maybe you can get an indian mail-order bride?

Can't say that's happend to me... but I can't even think of a vegetarian I know personally. When that situation has come up, the vegetarian is the minority.. so they're the ones who must suffer with their life style.. .. !!! Since my server is going so slow because I have some torrents going... I'll post an image! http://24.141.205.30/fi/GodsCreatures.jpg Quote: I also used to use Jolt, but it got taken off the market
