Author's Description: It's slaughtering day on Farmer Ted's farm. Unfortunately for him, his prize-winning pig Zonic prefers living and instead decides to wreak havoc on the farm by stealing all the food.
You control Zonic, a fast-running pig who bounces through four levels avoiding Farmer Ted's henchpig while collecting food. If you get caught, it's bacon time!
This game was made over the course of about 60 hours during one weekend for the SpeedHack 2007 competition. Modifications were slowly added afterwards.

What's New:
1.1
Gameplay has been modified: instead of racing against time you are running away from Farmer Ted's henchpig. If the other pig touches you, you lose food. Run out of food and it's all over.
Also, the drawing routines have been completely revamped. Instead of using Allegro, OpenGL is used for drawing everything. This had the advantage of hardware acceleration, which under Linux has proven to have serious speed improvements. Under Windows, it appears to be a little slower. :(
Fonts are now properly antialiased. :)
Gamepad/Joystick support. :)
(This is somewhat limited. The first set of axes controls movement, the first button acts as hitting "Space" or "Enter", and the last button acts as pressing "Esc".)
When you finish the game it does not automatically load a web page for you. You can load the web page from the main menu, if you so choose.
1.0-SH
This is the original SpeedHack version. Gameplay is a race against time and is hardly challenging. It also obnoxiously opens a web browser when you finish the game.

Public Opinion Overall Rating: 8.0 8A very good game. But to be honest, the pig that is chasing you is way faster. There should be a boost button or something simmilar so you can gain speed.
Except that, this is a simple, fun game. Good job!
The Developer
StevenVI I have been writing software and making video games for as long as I can remember. When I was 14 I discovered Allegro 3.1 and spent many subsequent years working with the library.
I currently hold a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Mathematics.
Upon graduation I entered the professional video game industry, and get paid to do what I love. While I do not currently believe that Allegro is an appropriate library for today's games, it still holds a special place in my heart. ( View Profile)
