Author's Description: Terrorists are at it again! They're placed bombs in random garbage cans all across town, and it's up to YOU, the local garbage man, to collect and diffuse the bombs. But watch out! If you run out of time, all garbage cans in town will explode on impact.

Trash Man is an overhead simulator game with a huge world to explore and gobs of garbage cans to dispose of. Just hop out of the truck when you see one, pick it up, and toss it in the back. When your truck is full, take it to the trash burning center to earn points and extra time.

Public Opinion
Overall Rating: 7.7
  • 10It's a game about being a garbage man. I think that in and of itself makes it worthy of a 10.
  • 6The game mechanics is the best part about this game, driving around reminds me a lot of the GTA games. After a few minutes picking up trash cans gets boring, though.
  • 7Original idea (at least to me). There were a few odd glitches. The game needs to be a bit more interactive.

StevenVII have been writing software and making video games for as long as I can remember. When I was 14 I discovered Allegro 3.1 and spent many subsequent years working with the library. I currently hold a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Mathematics. Upon graduation I entered the professional video game industry, and get paid to do what I love. While I do not currently believe that Allegro is an appropriate library for today's games, it still holds a special place in my heart. (View Profile)
