Linux, OS X, Windows
The Devil has grown weary of his prescribed antics and sets out on a journey to have a little talk with God. The denizens of Hell are trying to prevent him from making the journey so he must take them all out.
Hordes of demons are closing in on you and you must try to survive while wiping them out. Collect their remains to increase your multiplier and rack up insane scores!
The Devil features a short but challenging story mode, eternal (survival) mode, and online leaderboards.
Added better controller autodetection. The game will now look for a dual-analog controller first and set keyboard controls if it doesn't find one.
Save each controller config separately to prevent glitches on the config screen. This also makes it easier to switch control types as it will now remember configs for each type of controller.
Fix potential crash bugs in title screen related to the leaderboard.
Allow Backspace to be used on Mac OS X to delete letters when entering ID.
Fix blinking cursor on Internet options screen, shown when entering ID.
Add autodetect option to Controls options screen.
Enlarged menu items.
Update to latest T3F.
Utilize resource manager for loading graphics.
Don't render high scores on title screen since we now have multiple game modes.
Add display options to settings menu.
Always set 800x480 display on OpenPandora (use -DPANDORA at compile time to enable OpenPandora-specific changes).
Change cinema format and improve cinema text handling.
Use different default controller bindings on OpenPandora.
Improved Max OS X icon.
Allow analog controllers to be configured more thoroughly.
Allow controllers to be used to navigate UI.
Updated README to include credits.
Highlight selected menu items.
Don't show targetting reticule when game is paused.
Updated copyright info.
Changed to premultiplied alpha rendering.
Overall Rating: 9.0
9Very nice, I'm not sure what the difference between modes were, but it was simple and fun. Not something you can play for hours but I played it several times! Very fun controls and the bullet graphics really added to the entertainment.
