Author's Description: This game is going to be much like Contra or Rambo.

This is a sequel to Max of Ice. Several improvements over the first game either include are going to include the following:

1. A much cleaner code design incorporating the following:
(a.) Seperation of the Level data from the code,
(b.) A clean C++ design which uses classes, encapsulation,
inheritance, and polymorphism, and the STL classes to
do things like read files, create lists, and handle
strings.

2. Sound effects and music.

3. Smoother scrolling.

4. Better artwork for the story line.

5. More complex behavior from the enemies.

6. More graphic effects.

7. Last but not least, hand-made fonts instead of the usual
default font.

My goal is to get this game done by June 2004 with less than 10,000 lines of source code.

Public Opinion
Overall Rating: 1.5
  • 1For an early first release, it's okay. But as an abandoned game, there's nothing worth seeing here.
  • 2V 0.1. As of now, this is not a game. Maybe thats why its at version 0.1, but if its that undeveloped, then dont post it. The movement is very jerky and you cant do anything except walk forward. The source looks hacked together and the makefiles for linux dont work.
