Author's Description: A hybrid strategy/puzzle (stratpuzzle) game which pits you, the almighty pod digger, against all odds as you rescue the poor Bubblemen from the lifepods deep within the martian soil.

During the course of the game you will explore and excavate over 60 sites spanning 4 fully detailed worlds. With a full array of the latest in planet mining technologies at your disposal including ultra-steel girders and energy lifts. Build, dig and blow out pathways. Help your martian buddies to evacuate the helpless Bubblemen!

  • 10Personally, I think this a real gem, if for no other reason, it's really neat graphics and concept. It's a bit like Lemmings, in which you have to direct the little aliens to the ship and the like. It COULD be better in overall style and implimentation, but comparing outter-rim pod digger to most of the stuff on allegro.cc, it's way above what we usually see. Good job!
  • 6Unfortunately it made my PC screen go funny and then crashed :( but on a more reasonable computer than mine it'd run better and the graphics do look cool. Besides, anything which can be made to run on a Mac must be good :) But can't it be 100% free?
