Author's Description:
In the Caiman Easter Contest 2006
Gismo reached rank 20 of 75 valid entries!
Gismo was my first game, now it is my third!
It's a Tetris like game, what means that you must build rows. But in
Gismo this task is complicated by little blue creatures which have
nothing elso to do than to hinder you to build rows.
But, there is the Ball, a wonderful device to roll these little things away!

Public Opinion Overall Rating: 6.0 6It's a pretty wierd game, but I liked it. It's quite fun to play. The graphics aren't the best, and some of the tutorial was a bit dull, but nobody watches the tutorials anyway ;-)
The Developer
longear My first encounter with computer was at the beginning of the eighties with a C64.
Mostly it was playing games, but soon I was interested in the "how it is done", especially the programs written in the computerlanguage 'Assembler'. I begun to translate printed code (written in decimal or hexadecimal numbers) to the computercommands like 'LDA#01' etc. So I learned much about the background of programs and I begun to make programs by myself. I found (and find) it very exciting to have an idea and try to make it real.
Experience with PC's came much later, at work, where I was confronted with MS EXCEL and soon I was involved with writing programs in VB for our department.
At the end of last year I came somehow to the idea of learning C++ and soon after I discovered Allegro and here I am. Still excited to have ideas and to make them somehow real!
