Author's Description: This is a clone of the classic game "Parachute" where troops are trying to land from the sky and you need to kill them before they get to you. I don't think I need to explain much - the left and right arrows aim and space shoots. The idea is familiar.
It's a little game I wrote, mainly to teach myself how to use multiple source-code files, but also because I already made it in Flash/ActionScript and I wanted to make it in C/Allegro.
The name is not very original... If you have any better ideas feel free to send me an E-Mail.

Special thanks goes to Asaf Gartner, who drew the graphics in Flash, and I altered them and ported them to the 8-bit format. Anyway, he designed the graphics, and they're nice!

Overall Rating: 3.2
  • 2The parachuters and the background look nice, but the gun tower looks like it was created in Paint in less than five seconds. The simple gameplay could've been somewhat fun if it was backed up by some good sound effects and a highscores list. Without those things there's really no point in playing this at all.
  • 4The Game is not so bad as it is, and could be pretty fun with added weapons, a score which would give you a point to play this game! some better graphics, and sound. And the multi .exe idea seems pretty silly to me.
  • 4The graphics are OK, but everything else seems to be lacking. Having just one executable with a menu to change presets would have been better.
