Then again it's not like I often get to look at my desktop since I always have something open in both monitors and I open everything with Winkey+R or with everything (which is Winkey+Shift+F)

I always have multiple editors on Vista (Notepad++, Geany, Programmer's Notepad, Edit+, etc.) and Ubuntu (Vim, Geany, sublime, etc.) just to get a change (for when I get bored of color schemes).

As for blender, I always have blender and gimp on all computers. On vista I have blender, 3dsmax, maya, and can't remember what else.

In Vista I even have programs for music creation and a Casio Electronic Keyboard for making music (if I ever find time to use it) as I don't know of any other good music making programs.

I had the default Windows 7 background until I noticed this thread and realized how boring it was. :-/ I went looking for something custom and settled on this (original resolution is 2048x1152, but I shrunk it for convenience and size):
