I think it's a bit inconvinient to have two gaming terms with the fps abbreviation... anyway... I've started working on sprites for my 8-bit style game and I was wondering what the common fps was for NES and such. And also what the general color pallet is for it. That sort of thing, because my current sprites do not look very retro at all. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure most NES games run at full 50 (PAL) or 60 (NTSC) fps. -- |

Thanks, is it really as high as 50 fps? I'd think it'd be lower. huh. Isn't there some sort of "rule" I can only choose a certain # of colors per sprite? And any other "rules"?
