Who would be interested in a North American region funament?

I think this weekend is too last minute (though I could do it), next weekend is Labor Day so the earliest would probably be September 11th.

I'm thinking best of 3 matches for as many people as we can get to sign on.

I'm in and wouldn't mind arranging/spectating/sharing replays. Can anyone else set aside several hours on that weekend and want to compete for fun? We should probably try to arrange people by current rank fist and then by times available.

"Tournament" seems like a strong word for the level of player we have around here (myself included). "Organized chaos" might be more appropriate.

Fun story: one of the girls at work won't play StarCraft because she only plays casual stuff like FarmVille, so for kicks I created a game on a 8-player field as Terran, and gathered all resources as the game ran in the background during work. Then I built all over the map, leaving room for "roads". I put my vehicles and infantry on patrol and bam; Social City rip-off. Then I showed her how to clear room by attacking buildings. Then I showed her how to make a parking lot with 8+ Nukes.

StarCraftVille. It's gonna be huge I tell you.

Edit: I found this nice thread where people who want to practice and play against others have provided their information. It's organized by server and then by current 1v1 league skill.
