About a week ago I started porting Allegro to the PSP, and I haven't stopped since except for sleep. Few features are currently supported, and some examples run very slow Updates and examples (and the source once it's ready) can be found at http://tehsausage.com/allegro-psp/ |

Cool. Let us know if you want to integrate it into the main repository, once it's ready.

Upload whatever screenshots you have. It will be exciting to see. |

Thanks. If I take any screenshots, it will just cheat and take one of it running on windows as 480x272 It should be as easy as any other platform to dump into svn when it's ready, but you wouldn't even want to think about it yet with how unstable it is. I'd love to get it working with Allegro 5 one day too, but not for a long time. |

Just took http://tehsausage.com/allegro-psp/exblend.jpg Edit: No it doesn't wrap around, just some unfortunate clipping. |

Hey, I recognize that mouse! Well done! There is a story about that (wasn't it George's one?), but can't remember right now. -- |

I don't think anyone ever could track down who Mysha the mouse really is. (But one likely if somewhat disappointing theory was that Shawn simply used a random picture from the internet...) -- |

Last I heard its a generic stock photo. Its been used in news segments on TV. edit: just remembered this little goodie: {"name":"mysha-colbert-report.png","src":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/2\/c\/2c23c58a65af91052f0ad8b1eb23fdaa.png","w":512,"h":384,"tn":"\/\/djungxnpq2nug.cloudfront.net\/image\/cache\/2\/c\/2c23c58a65af91052f0ad8b1eb23fdaa"} -- |

Aww, that's thoroughly disappointing. Also, someone pointed out to be that exblend only shows 2 bitmaps, so I have no clue what's happening in that photo, maybe it really is wrapping around somehow. =\ |

Quote: I don't think anyone ever could track down who Mysha the mouse really is. (But one likely if somewhat disappointing theory was that Shawn simply used a random picture from the internet...) Well, considering "Mysha" very closely resembles "mouse" in at least some Slavonic languages (myš, myška in Czech) and probably is the word for mouse in others, combined with the picture showing up in lots of places rather suggests that that is indeed the case (although a Google for "mysha mouse" also turned up "hey iim Mysha iim 16 iim siingle iim biisexual ii play soccer"). So how about we say Shawn saw the picture of the poor nameless mouse and adopted her as an icon for Allegro? |

As I remember, Shawn explained (I think on A.cc) that a Polish contributor sent him an example program with a mysha.pcx. But I still think of that little guy (or gal) as Mysha. edit: the disappointing truth

Interesting how I made almost the same remark in my post there as I did here... Can someone contribute a little game featuring a white mouse called Mysha? |
