I recall playing "Rush 'n' Attack" on an arcade machine before I ever played it on the NES. I remember a wild-west style arcade shooter game where you have a plastic gun as your controller (those games were common at convenience stores in the 80's). Centipede and Mrs. Pacman were always favorites of mine. More recently, I spent a ton of quarters on Tekken2 at the arcade.

I actually didn't think about it when I made that list but all of the games in my "Old School" list were released in the 80s (though Final Fight cuts it quite close[/url]).

And yes, I'm with you guys as well about the age thing.

(a racing CGA game where the player used an floating magenta motocycle and the road was a white line. There was some cyan motocycle enemies and some balls in the road. No idea of what the name was. Can't remember much more. Lost it many years ago).
