I recall playing "Rush 'n' Attack" on an arcade machine before I ever played it on the NES. I remember a wild-west style arcade shooter game where you have a plastic gun as your controller (those games were common at convenience stores in the 80's). Centipede and Mrs. Pacman were always favorites of mine. More recently, I spent a ton of quarters on Tekken2 at the arcade. :)

Played a lot of others but they are the favs.

I actually didn't think about it when I made that list but all of the games in my "Old School" list were released in the 80s (though Final Fight cuts it quite close[/url]).

And yes, I'm with you guys as well about the age thing.

(a game which i have no idea of what the name was. You were a explorer (3 red pixels vertically aligned) climbing up and down some platforms (horizontal lines) avoiding a missile or something (3 or 4 pixels running the screen horizontally))
(an old EGA game funny in which the player was a bandit, the moon could spit in you, etc. can't remember the name)
(a racing CGA game where the player used an floating magenta motocycle and the road was a white line. There was some cyan motocycle enemies and some balls in the road. No idea of what the name was. Can't remember much more. Lost it many years ago).
(a jumping spaceship travelling the space, don't remember the name)
(a game in a building under constructing. The player was a worker running that everywhere trying to constantly run from something)
