Photogenic means something looks good when photographed. Like if someone is pretty they might be photogenic.

Photographic memory should apply to what you said too, there are obviously varying degrees of photographic memory, and I doubt there are any people with perfect photographic memory.

Oh yea, and BTW, it'll never come out of your mind. Sad to say really, but that's how it works. Anything of that nature(and various other things) just really don't come out unless you lose your memory, which is unlikely and would suck cause you've lost all other memories! So yea...

I tend to disagree... The only time I've really felt terrible thanks to the internet was after I saw the web page about the poor girl who was horribly burnt in a car accident. You know the one. That made me ill. I felt nervous travelling by car for some time after that one.

But I got over it. I could probably see the pic again (the burnt one) and not feel a thing. Not that I want to. Since then nothing else has really phased me much....except maybe the dreaded "Pain" series (DON'T ASK).

since you mention them - goatse, tubgirl, they were both just funny to me, nothing that could ever leave a scar on my mind in any way. That .asf was something different. And the only reason why one would want to watch it would be to see what Putin's mafia does in Chechenia.

Seeing someone who had been burned to deformation isn't what I'm talking about. There are some things that can be burned into your mind that will never come out, even if you never look at another thing like it again. I'm not going to say what these things are, but you probably know.

Now, there are "secondary" images similar to these discussed here, the burnt chick, the decapitation(?), etc. Those are bad, and can also burn into your mind, but unfortuantly(yes unfortuantly) you adjust to these inhumanities, as you said damage.

Since I began using P2P connections, though, I only got one of those videos. Nothing too serious, just a movie of the police searching between below a train, finding head, arms, feet, all around.

But indeed, some images are too strong. My sister got really bad impressed with a train accident.

Apparently nobody has heard of 2chan. Be glad you haven't. I've not seen that video, but on 2chan (from what I remember) is a whole category full of extremely nasty (read: gory) stuff (of which I choose to not describe).

p.s. What's this I hear? Certainly you wouldn't mind this type of content on network television during dinnertime... I mean censorship is such a horrible thing, right? ::)
