Do you even know how to use C++? Allegro? If not, i think a programming team would be a too premature idea...

I know C and, hopefully, maybe also allegro (if I manage to install it). BTW, check this: http://www.allegro.cc/forums/view_thread.php?_id=186259&request=1022259195&

Click here for TIC TAC TOE.

Anyway I sort of run a so called company, KRIS.

Think I should join? Me e-mail: sourav1987@yahoo.co.in.

Anyway what's the problem in installing ALLEGRO??

I have checked out some of your creations and I think you are good. I'd like to see the bloody face of anyone who does not want you!

Wait, isn't Owet Softwares already a team? The one that has a shared account at allegro, so the posts give the impression of a severe multi-personality disorder? Hmm ... suppose this must be a post by a depressed member ...

So, I am wondering: did this project start off? Not that I want to be a part of it - just wondering, because whenever I offer the opportunity to my friends who are somewhat c/c++ literate, they always say yes - and then nothing happens. :) They are just lazy I guess.

Never worked for me. Just wondering if any success occured here;D

hhhmmm i think a groupe of programers should start by working on a good game to improve it maybe not try and create a 100% new one together... they never seem to start. All the members of the groupe wait for some1 else to do somthing(happened to me be4).

Why dont we form a group to polish allegro games. We would take a game that has a good idea and needs some work done to it and finish the game. Or take a good game and add network suport to it.

The i would like to see some realy good allegro games be made(finished) not just started and given up on when it gets good.

Any one know of some good allegro GPL'ed games that need a bit of a polish?
:)

I think the problem is that most people would probably want to do the actual coding for the game? Just a thought.

This would lead to conflicts in coding styles, etc. The problem with doing all of this over the net is changes in code.

If one member changes the code to suit something new, and another member does the same thing: when they go ahead and send the new code to eachother -- everything is jumbled up and messed up. :-D

There needs to be a good way of communicating things.

I think for a nice web project, one should start out with only a few people: Ie, one for programming, one for art, one for music, one for storyline, one for the overall development.

I think having a single person on each task would make things simpler -- but then again, who do you chose? Most people on here are more into the programming aspect than anything else::)

;D
