You guys have no idea how much your abuse of English just made me giggle You can't contract a verb into the pronoun if you don't have another verb after it. Reason being, there has to be a word to put the emphasis on to, to help indicate that the clause has ended and the rest is implied. That would be either the "will" or the following verb. So, I hear it in my head with an unemphasised "you'll", and then a huge glaring gap where the emphasised word should be. It's like musical comedy -- |
