Hi everyone!

I've just joined up in order to learn more about Allegro. My past programming experience includes Blitz3D/BlitzBasic, Monkey-X, DarkBasic Pro. Also played around with Java, Python, Javascript. I also learned some C++ through Youtube's AntiRTFM, although I'm a little rusty on that one due to using Monkey-X too often, but I'm sure I will pick it up again pretty quick. ;)

Welcome!

Don't mind our occasional off-topic bickering. We're cranky old men. But we'll definitely try our best to help you find answers!

Welcome, new member! :D

EDIT:

You will rather quickly find that we like to divide into two groups and have pissing contests. See this video for reference:

Welcome.

I'd recommend you don't get involved in any debates we have here in the off-topic forum. In this forum lurk many nasty dragons. But don't worry, you'll be fine if you stick mostly to the other forums.

I hope you enjoy Allegro. Feel free to ask anything about it. :)

This old face welcomes you new face! Judging from your past programming experience, I'm sure you'll like Allegro. You can choose either the old-skool Allegro 4.x or the more up-to-date Allegro 5.x
