I have been having a problem on my computer when I try to install this software 'Allegro 4'. I am getting this error '0x0000004E'. Could anyone please provide me some solutions that help to solve it? |

Mikayla, From what I've read, this is a Windows error and not an Allegro error. Can you include a snapshot of the error? |

Dude, you got a stop error. Did the screen turn blue? You have loose or bad hardware. My Website! | EAGLE GUI Library Demos | My Deviant Art Gallery | Spiraloid Preview | A4 FontMaker | Skyline! It may not be connected to hardware, I did a search on it and found a Microsoft forum post where a guy had it and the error was connected to the program RGB Fusion. Just the code doesn't help, but don't know if any of us have the ability to read the MS dump file from his BSOD to find what caused it.

AceBlkwell, not like that, but anyway I have resolved the issue with the help of this article https://www.thewindowsclub.com/fix-0x0000004e-error-on-windows-11. First I run DISM and SFC scans and updated the device driver. Then I run CHKDSK Scan. After completing the tasks properly, I had no longer any issues installing the software. Anyway, thank you so much everyone for your kind response. |

It was either bad hardware or bad drivers. That's the only thing that makes windows sod off and choke. Or maybe a bad mix between headers and libraries, i don't know now. I had a similar error years ago. 🌈🌈🌈 🌟 BlackRook WebSite (Only valid from my installer) 🌟 C/C++ 🌟 GNU/Linux 🌟 IceCream/Cornet 🌟 🌈🌈🌈 Rm Beer for Emperor 2021! Rm Beer for Ruinous Slave Drained 2022!
