More information needed to help you.. about the source codes. Look in the depot for projects similar to what you have in mind and if the source code is available, take a good look at it. Don't be afraid to ask questions but try and make the question specific about something particular.

That's a dreadful looking site. Might I suggest you download the extra stuff with allegro (samples, demos, utilities, etc) and use those source files for learning. There is a space based shootem up there that you can get the code for. Neil. wii:0356-1384-6687-2022, kart:3308-4806-6002. XBOX:chucklepie |

Do an a.cc search on screenhack. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Years of thorough research have revealed that what people find beautiful about the Mandelbrot set is not the set itself, but all the rest. |

The first thing found with that search mentions the lameness of the a.cc search function. I second using examples in the Depot. That's how I first figured out timers and a few other things.

Quote: The first thing found with that search mentions the lameness of the a.cc search function. I actually prefer the allegro search over google's a.cc search for finding stuff on the forums. -- |

Cymons games should be a good source, it's a growing collection of small, compact games with a short but readable source code. |
