You sure you've got whatever required DLLs installed on the new system? -----sig: |

Allegro 5.1.7 is old. You should upgrade to 5.1.11 or 5.0.10. There are MSVC 2013 binaries available for 5.1.11. I just tested some A5 speedhack entries on Windows 10, and they seemed to work ok. Do you have a binary I could test to try to reproduce this? Also, you could test some A5 speedhack entries on your Windows 10 (see https://www.allegro.cc/forums/thread/615562) ? I just tried my Allegro 5.0.7 game on Windows 10, no issues that I could see. |

In A5 SpeedHack only "the falling" and "the human cpu experiment" worked correctly for me. Some show a error window and the most are minimized. I downloaded the 5.1.11 version (here http://sourceforge.net/projects/alleg/files/allegro-unstable-bin/5.1.11/), but appears many errors and not compiles. It have only 31,6 MB, while 5.1.7 have 177 MB. I upload the game in 4Shared: http://www.4shared.com/rar/pQp3v2kpce/Nave_Invader.html |

Interesting. "the falling" uses Allegro 4, so maybe it's expected that it works. "the human cpu experiment", however, uses Allegro 5.1.9. I tried your game on my Win10 installation, and it seemed to work fine... I'm not quite sure what's up. Is there anything of note in the logs? What happens if you force the OpenGL backend? My game, statically linked to 5.0.10, works great on Windows 10. |
