Because just like Christmas New Years and resolutions are a tradition (at least in the US). Though, I've learned my life is too unpredictable to even bother with resolutions so I just don't mess with them. Last year was the last year I made one.
]]>I mean, it's silly to say "well, I need to lose weight now but... it's tradition to start on the 1st so I'll just wait." Then a few months later that fails and the line then is "well, there's always next year." Don't wait because other idiots are waiting. Act now, fail sooner and you'll be ahead of the curve.

I am going to The Orange Bowl in Miami on January 1.
It makes me happy inside knowing that my puny university's qualifying for the game has greatly upset all the big name schools who wanted a piece of the 18 million dollar payout.

For 2013, it is my intention to draw a lot more and to start with oil painting.
Well... already started on the draw more part a couple of weeks ago.

Don't know about having any resolutions, personally, but I was playing around with creating a game in A5 last year that contained one...
...so maybe that stands good for this year, if I can just get my head together again.

This person is nt considered intelligent and may only have his job because the union will not let us fire anyone unless they are caught stealing or knowingly put themselves or someone else in serious danger.
