The newest MC allows you to add and save the servers you like. I have Tomasu's and Kdevil's servers. The raid is happening on kdevil's which is mc.kentdev.net which I've been on but not really done anything toward building/mining on it. Do have a fortress going on Tomasu's server though.

Put a date for the enderdragon raid and I'll pop in, even if badly geared. Just a set date using UTC I guess, like we did last time for the mineaggedon on BAF's server.    I could try and record the fight. TranslatorHack 2010, a human translation chain in a.cc. |

It will be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG fight. I did it in creative mode where I was able to fly and it still took a long time due to the amount of health it had. Not to mention every hit makes it change direction while flying. The end is randomly generated like the rest of the world but for the most part it has always been little masses of land sometimes connected sometimes not with oblivion below you so you can't fall.

Yeah, we're going to need a lot of well-geared people for an Enderdragon raid. I've got some iron on that server, but I don't know if iron equipment is going to be good enough.

It's not so much the Enderdragon as it is all the Endermen we're going to accidentally look at. If you're going with iron armor, you might want to bring along a spare set. For the raid, how does Thursday at 7PM EST (2400 UTC) sound? ----- |

Yeah, the End Endermen didn't seem to attack in the video. Maybe they have different behavior from the normal Endermen? Or maybe I'm just looking wrong. -- |

They're supposed to attack after you look away, according to what I've read on notch's blog. |

That's what normal Endermen do, yes ... like I said, the ones in the video don't seem to care. However, I just did a little research and found my error ... Quote: Endermen will not attack you unless you look at them by pointing your crosshair on them. In creative, they will only attack you if you punch them. So ... I guess that explains that. -- |

I've only been to the End in creative mode, and I don't know if creative mode changes how they react to you. Also, Thursday works great for me. It's one of the few nights where I do nothing.

Maybe he is joking and meaning a gun scope crosshair. I personally don't consider the cross on the screen really a crosshair just view point reference.

I suppose you could consider that a crosshair. I more associate them with guns and other projectile weapons, and usually its more than just a +. -- |

Yeah that is kind of how I think when I hear crosshair. Sadly almost all first-person perspective games refer to it as a crosshair. Oh well.

Does our Nether have a fortress? I was going to make some potions, but you need nether warts for them, and apparently those only spawn in nether fortresses.

It's a bit of a walk, but yes, we've got nether fortresses. There's an enclosed path to it, though, so at least it's not too dangerous getting there. I've planted some nether wart near the town portal, too. ----- |

Just so we've got a rough headcount, who plans to join us for our epic battle against the Enderdragon tomorrow evening? Also, let us know what equipment you'll be bringing so we have an estimate of the group's power. I'll be wearing enchanted iron. I'll also be bringing some healing potions to share among the group.

Enchantments and potions are new to me too... and so very fun! Enchanting is a bit confusing to me. I'm not sure how to get a particular enchantment that I want.
