1.4 beta autoloaded on me. I wonder if they've fixed it so it doesn't black screen every 5 minutes on the plus side where you sleep is your next spawn point.

Any idea when baf's server will be updated as it won't let you on?

Thought I'd try it on 'far'. I lasted 3 seconds before it crashed. Glad to see they got their priorities right in adding the ability to ride a dog instead of fixing bugs.

Weird, it auto-updated, but the script failed to restart the server properly. Anyhow, I just restarted it and it's running 1.4 in its entire buggy crappiness.

I wish minecraft wouldn't auto update

I just set up my minecraft.jar with all the extensions I wanted, and what has minecraft just done? downloaded all the jars again but it's the same version as I had!

Tell a lie, it says the same version but it's different. Mod Loader now causes minecraft to not load.

what new launcher?

btw, I wish they'd update automap mod to work with multi-player maps, I'd fleece baf's server dry of everything useful in double quick time

Or the exe file. If you play from the web site, you'll get auto updates.

It won't ever update that exe though. AFAIK. Just the .jar files it downloads. You need to redownload the exe to update it.

In other news, the server is still impossibly laggy. Which I guess technically isn't news. I really want to continue my work .... stupid game.

I've seen a few mock films, but I wonder if anyone has recreated any sets of films or games? I think the start of Bioshock with flames in the sea and a plane leading to the underground lift would be quite cool.
