Another thing to do is just to pic a random page on wikipedia and start exploring interesting topics. Couple of times I've spent almost all of my workday like that :P

Internet was exciting the first week or two that it was new to me. So I've been bored for years now.
Solution: do other things when you're bored of haning around in front of your computer. You'll be surprised how much you can do in one hour if you don't waste it doing nothing.

It crashes firefox for me from time to time when I click the "Stumble!" button. :P
