The first one seems right. If ML adds that (and I think he should), he should also add the crying-with-a-smile smiley that somebody made years ago.

I'm still siding with the first one. It's subtle, yet clear. It's "you fail, and it's funny" without being "I smashed our baby's head on the well." It isn't ridiculous. It's reasonable. It's evil without being fucking shitfaced insane.

Maybe both should be available then. The first one looks like an evil prick. The last one likes a mad evil mastermind!

But I think that if Matthew would be so generous as to grant us the chance of adding a smiley, I guess it'll only be one.

The first one isn't so much evil as it is slightly nasty. It's the kind of face that belongs on a person who thinks sticking his leg out in front of someone walking by is a funny prank. It doesn't really convey evil so much as annoying.

I find the smiley too light-hearted. Those teeth are extremely funny. They don't strike me as "evil". They steal the thunder too much.

The default KDE 4 emoticons crack me up. I think allegro.cc should switch to them.
