Just wanted to announce that I married today
Today was the civil part, saturday is the main event..

And I must say that it takes time to get used to that ring... it feels kinda unusual

I've seen several ways of handling it, and the one who paid the bills always considered it more or less normal to pay

No kidding, when I lived in Germany it was a real 'mixing pot'. You had people living there from all over; czeck's, pols, turks, croats. Lots of variety in marriage customs I imagine.
