Matthew, could you add a config option to disable people's pictures on the forums?

Sorry... I guess if you don't want to see my face, you'll have to disable images on your browser.

In the future, there will be some customization available - although I'm not sure to what level. In any case, there will be the ability for each user to upload 2 images; one would be used solely for the forums, and the other would be used in the profile.

Simpler than that. Guys are ugly. No text mode browsers at uni (except lynx, in some places). If there was a better 'ratio' here (you know what I'm talking about), it'd be different ;-)

Or even better, an option to turn off peoples signatures. Especially those with 10 lines of lyrics to an almost unknown song or five quotes made by themselves.

Well, just because everyone should know Pink Floyd doesn't mean they want to read the lyrics over and over.

But I wasn't talking about your quote. More about quotes and sigs in general. My rule of thumb: If you post is shorter then your sig, remove one of them.

It's especially annoying if there is some not declared quote at the bottom of the post so that you are not able to see where the post ends and where the sig starts. This leads to senseless decyphering of meanings, that do not even exist.

Avatars are fun though. You can quickly tell who's posting without even looking at their name.

But, it's not like you don't read the name anyways. They are right above the pictures.:P

I'm just trying to educate you ppl with some good musical quotes, from great bands I might add. seeing that some of you might not get out much I guess that might be a problem.

I've been to forums where sigs can tend to be a screen high or more. A few lines of quotes is nutin' Though I agree there should be a clear division between post and sig (except for Jake Rohs. Gets me every time ....)

I did have a pic of a 'beautiful' girl for a bit....or at least, she was beautiful.... until I beat the hell outta her with photoshop..

I was actually trying to make her wink.. but it didn't turn out too well.. she looked like she had a black eye.. which gave be an idea!
